Visit the Portal

Go to otc.killb.com and click Sign Up

Enter Your Details

Provide your email address and create a strong passwordPassword requirements:
  • Minimum 8 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one number
  • At least one special character

Verify Email

Check your email inbox for a verification link and click it
Check your spam folder if you don’t see the email within 5 minutes.

Complete Profile

Fill in your personal information:
  • Full legal name
  • Date of birth
  • Phone number
  • Country of residence
  • Address

Complete KYC Verification

You must complete KYC verification before making transactions.

Navigate to KYC Section

Click KYC in the left menu

Select KYC Level

Choose the verification level based on your needs:

Upload Documents

Take clear photos of:
  • Government-issued ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID)
  • Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement - less than 3 months old)
  • Selfie with ID (for Level 2+)
Photo Tips:
  • Good lighting
  • All corners visible
  • Text clearly readable
  • No glare or reflections

Wait for Approval

Verification typically takes:
  • Level 1: 10-30 minutes
  • Level 2: 1-3 hours
  • Level 3: 24-48 hours

Add Payment Methods

Before making transactions, add your payment methods:

Add a Bank Account

Go to Accounts

Navigate to Accounts → Bank Accounts

Click Add Bank Account

Fill in the required information:
  • Account holder name
  • Bank name
  • Account number
  • Account type (checking/savings)
  • Country

Verify Ownership

For security, you may need to:
  • Upload a bank statement
  • Complete a micro-deposit verification

Add a Crypto Wallet

Go to Accounts

Navigate to Accounts → Wallets

Click Add Wallet

Provide:
  • Wallet address (0x… format)
  • Network (Polygon, Ethereum, Base, etc.)
  • Currency (USDC, USDT, etc.)
  • Nickname (optional)

Verify Address

Double-check your wallet address to avoid loss of funds
Important: Ensure the network matches your wallet. Sending to the wrong network will result in permanent loss of funds.

Make Your First Transaction

Buy Crypto (On-Ramp)

Click Buy Crypto in the menu

Enter Amount

Choose to enter:
  • Fiat amount you want to spend (e.g., 1,000 COP)
  • OR crypto amount you want to receive (e.g., 25 USDC)

Review the quote showing:
  • Exchange rate
  • Fees
  • Amount you’ll receive
  • Quote expiration time

Select Accounts

Choose:
  • Payment method (bank account)
  • Receiving wallet

Complete Payment

Follow payment instructions:
  • PSE (Colombia): Complete online banking transfer
  • SPEI (Mexico): Make SPEI transfer
  • Wire: Send international wire transfer

Receive Crypto

Once payment is confirmed, crypto is sent to your walletTypical processing time:
  • PSE: 5-30 minutes
  • SPEI: Instant to 3 hours
  • Wire: 1-3 business days

  • Crypto amount you want to sell (e.g., 100 USDC)
  • OR fiat amount you want to receive (e.g., 400,000 COP)

Review exchange rate and fees

Select Accounts

Choose:
  • Source wallet
  • Receiving bank account

Send Crypto

Send the exact crypto amount to the provided deposit address
Important:
  • Send EXACTLY the quoted amount
  • Use the correct network
  • Send within the quote validity period (15 minutes)

Receive Fiat

Once crypto is confirmed, fiat is sent to your bankProcessing time: 1-3 business days

Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

We strongly recommend enabling 2FA for additional security.

Go to Settings

Navigate to Settings → Security

Enable 2FA

Choose your preferred method:
  • Authenticator App (recommended) - Google Authenticator, Authy
  • SMS - Receive codes via text message

Scan QR Code

If using authenticator app:
  1. Open your authenticator app
  2. Scan the QR code displayed
  3. Enter the 6-digit code to verify

Save Backup Codes

Download and securely store backup codes for account recovery
Keep backup codes in a safe place. You’ll need them if you lose access to your 2FA device.

Your transactions go through several stages:

Exchange rate locked for 15 minutes

Waiting for you to complete payment/send crypto

Payment confirmed, processing transaction

If Something Goes Wrong

If payment fails:
  • Check your bank account balance
  • Verify payment method details
  • Try again with a new quote
  • Contact support if issue persists
If quote expires before payment:
  • Create a new quote
  • Complete payment faster
  • Quotes are valid for 15 minutes
If you send wrong crypto amount:
  • Contact support immediately
  • Provide transaction hash
  • Refund may take 3-5 business days
