Overview

Off-ramps allow you to convert cryptocurrency (USDC, USDT) into fiat currency (COP, MXN, USD) and receive it directly to your bank account.
Processing Time: Most off-ramps complete within 1-3 business days after crypto confirmation.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Navigate to Sell Crypto

  1. Log in to the OTC Portal
  2. Click Sell Crypto in the left navigation menu
  3. You’ll see the off-ramp creation form

Step 2: Select Currencies

Choose source currency:
  • USDC (USD Coin)
  • USDT (Tether)
This is the cryptocurrency you’ll send.

Step 3: Enter Amount

You can enter either: 
I want to sell: 100 USDC

You will receive: ~400,000 COP
(Rate: 1 USDC = 4,000 COP)

Step 4: Select Network

Critical: Select the network where you have your crypto. Sending from a different network will result in loss of funds!

Step 5: Select Bank Account

Choose where you want to receive the fiat:
  • Select from your saved bank accounts
  • Or add a new bank account
  • Verify account details match your KYC information
For security, the bank account must be in your name.

After sending, your transaction goes through these stages:

  • Base: 2-5 minutes
  • Arbitrum: 5-10 minutes

  • Transaction is being confirmed on the blockchain
  • Requires 6-12 confirmations depending on network
  • You can track progress with your tx hash

Crypto Received

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Problem: Sent 99 USDC instead of 100 USDCResult:
  • Transaction rejected or delayed

  • You lose gas fees

  • Always copy/paste the EXACT amount
  • Double-check before confirming
Problem: Sent USDC on Ethereum instead of PolygonResult:

  • Recovery is often impossible
  • Or requires complex manual recovery ($50-100 fee)
Solution:
  • Verify network 3 times before sending
  • Match network to what portal shows
Problem: Sent crypto from Coinbase/Binance instead of personal walletResult:

  • Always send from YOUR OWN wallet
  • First withdraw from exchange to your wallet

Troubleshooting

What happens:
  • Transaction is flagged for review
  • Automatic refund initiated
  • Refund takes 3-5 business days
  • You lose network gas fees
What to do:
  1. Contact support immediately
  2. Provide transaction hash
  3. Wait for refund confirmation
  4. Create new quote with correct amount
Check:
  • Correct deposit address
  • Correct network used
  • Transaction confirmed on blockchain
  • Wait at least 30 minutes
Still not detected:
  • Provide transaction hash to support
  • Support will manually verify
  • If valid, processing continues
Normal delays:
